We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Vendor Relationship Manager. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to developing and maintaining relationships with vendors to support our company's objectives and growth. The ideal candidate will have a knack for networking, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven track record of successful vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for vendor partnerships and alliances.
- Identify potential vendor partnership opportunities and areas for collaboration.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform vendor partnership strategies.
- Negotiate vendor partnership agreements and contracts.
- Manage and nurture ongoing vendor relationships.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors, developing relationships at all organizational levels, including channel teams, distribution, maintenance and support, product, and sales.
- Train and enable internal teams, ensuring certifications or accreditations are maintained.
- Work closely with sales teams to coordinate vendor meetings.
- Conduct annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with vendors.
- Track and report on the performance and ROI of vendor partnerships.
- Identify and resolve challenges and issues in vendor partnerships.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on vendor partnership initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments to inform vendor strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role with a strong track record of success in building strategic vendor partnerships.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to develop win-win solutions.
