Business Development ManagerPosition Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Cyber Security Business Development Manager, focusing on new business development. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers for our cybersecurity services and solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential customers in various industries to generate new business opportunities. Utilize market research, networking, and prospecting techniques to engage key decision-makers in discussions about our cybersecurity solutions.
- Build strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their specific cybersecurity needs and challenges. Develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and align our solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and effectiveness of our cybersecurity solutions. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, highlighting benefits and competitive advantages. Use a consultative approach to position relevant solutions based on customer needs and maturity.
- Lead negotiations with potential customers, addressing their concerns, and positioning our offerings as the optimal solution. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, pricing, and contract terms that meet customer needs while ensuring profitability.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers and technical experts, to develop customized solutions that address customer requirements. Ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction through close collaboration.
- Foster relationships with vendors and their local teams to build pipelines, register deals, and secure assistance for POCs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and competitive landscape in the cybersecurity industry. Gather market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and provide insights to shape our product and sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, pipeline management, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular reports to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, focusing on new business development in the cybersecurity industry. Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets. Familiarity with selling complex technical solutions is highly desirable. Established contacts with influencers and decision-makers in the industry for cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, industry trends, and best practices. Familiarity with various cybersecurity solutions such as network security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, PAM, GRC, identity and access management, and cloud security. Experience with cybersecurity services such as Managed SOC, VA/PT, red teaming & blue teaming, security assessments, and data classification.
- Proven ability to drive new business acquisition through effective prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of successful deal closures. Experience managing a complex sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in sales or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Salesforce) are advantageous.
